The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
The Research Fellow will work on the differentiating the fine reactivity difference of functional saccharides.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and make catalysts and other molecules, responsible to design and execute chemical reactions, design, and perform mechanistic studies
Design and synthesis of (potentially) bioactive molecules and perform bioactivity and mechanistic studies (with collaborators when needed).
Responsible to other research and lab matters as assigned by PI.
Job Requirements:
PhD in Chemistry and related majors
Solid research experience and track record (2 of Tier1 publications, etc).
Preference will be given to those who has strong record in the areas of organic synthesis, new methodology development, synthesis, and biological activity evaluation of functional small molecules.
