The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Fellow, in the Bia-Echo Asia Centre for Reproductive Longevity & Equality (ACRLE), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. ACRLE collaborates with many experts and organizations to advance research in women’s reproductive health, leveraging on biomedical science, digital medicine, translational clinical work, public health and epidemiology, and health communication and public outreach. Appointments will be made on a 1-year contract basis in the first instance, with the possibility of extension.
Purpose of the post
The Research Fellow (RF) will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and study team members to ensure the successful completion of the projects in Track 1 and 2, focusing primarily on laboratory based research work on reproductive biology working on cell systems, murine model and human cells/tissues. The RF’s principle role is to assist the PI closely in the design, coordinating and leading basic and translational at the ACRLE laboratory.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
– The research fellow will be expected to lead the design and implementation of studies aimed at understanding reproductive ageing biology in cell systems, murine model and human cells/tissues with the PI
– Presentation of data for internal and external meetings/conferences
– Train/Teach/Guide the team as well as attachment students with PI
– Write and/or assist in writing grants for the continued support of research with the PI
– Be updated on latest literature on Reproductive ageing
– Up to date on latest research methodologies and assist the PI in planning and collaborate with other investigators to fill critical gaps in knowledge on Reproductive Biology and Ageing for novel research directions
