Research Fellow (Neuroscience)

A Research Fellow position is available in the School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The laboratory is located at NTU, Novena campus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducting neuroscience research particularly focusing on mouse behavior and optical imaging/electrophysiology in behaving rodents

• Perform surgical procedure, optical imaging/electrophysiological recording, and animal behavior

Job Requirements:

• PhD in Neuroscience

• Research experience in optical imaging and/or electrophysiological measurements in behaving rodents (strongly preferred)

• Responsible use and care of laboratory animals course certificate in Singapore (required to obtain it at the commencement of work)

• Research experience in one or more of three area below:

1. Rodent behavior

2. Programming skills and their use in data analysis

3. Genetic manipulation using viral vectors
