The Opportunity

The Lieschke Group studies white blood cell development and function, using zebrafish models. This position will involve using tumour xenograft animal models to understand the interaction between tumour cells and innate immune cells. Genetic manipulations will be used to explore the mechanism of tumour/leukocyte interactions for enhanced anti-tumour outcomes from cellular immunotherapies for solid tumours.

This position may also involve administrative, financial and other activities associated with the research program including management responsibility for technical, administrative and non-professional staff.
