The Pure mathematics research group is offering a fixed term position in Topology Data Analysis, starting in November 2022. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake research within a Royal Society-funded project to focus on Topological Data Analysis using models currently in use, their function and user expectations to develop the criteria of similarity.
The Pure mathematics research group currently comprises about 15 academic members of staff and advanced research fellows as well as a number of postdocs and research students. In order to be considered for this post, the applicant must have a PhD or equivalent professional qualification in Pure mathematics or a related discipline and have a track record in at least one of the following research areas:
