The Opportunity

The School of Physics and Astronomy located within the Faculty of Science has an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the team.

The Research Fellows are to carry out research in areas related to the newly funded OzGrav Centre of Excellence for Gravitational-wave Discovery. All sub-fields related to OzGrav will be considered, particularly those that align with the interests of the OzGrav-Monash Chief Investigators: Professor Eric Thrane, Professor Ilya Mandel, and Associate Professor Paul Lasky. 

The successful candidates will hold a PhD in astrophysics, physics, computer science, mathematics, or a closely related field, and have experience in gravitational-wave astronomy, high-energy astrophysics, population synthesis, tests of general relativity, pulsar timing.
