Applications are invited for the position of a Research Fellow at the Centre for Environment & Sustainability. The position involves a range of activities including two biorefinery/bioeconomy publications on policy and technology assessments for Mexico. You will join a team of postdoctoral and PhD students working on different aspects of software development and data analysis related to engineering problems.

The aim of the project is to create a design and decision-making platform for renewable, bioeconomy and circular economy systems and produce a user-friendly https://tesarrec.web.app/sustainability  that allows plug-and-play selections of unit modules creating flowsheets of unit modules and life cycle sustainability assessment functionalities.

You should have a good PhD degree in Chemical/Process Engineering.

Please note, it is University Policy to offer a starting salary equivalent to Level 3.6 (£33,314) to successful applicants who have been awarded, but are yet to receive, their PhD certificate. Once the original PhD certificate has been submitted to the local HR Department, the salary will be increased to Level 4.1 (£34,308).
