The Opportunity
Join our team as a Research Fellow and play a pivotal role in a groundbreaking NHMRC project aimed at combating loneliness and social isolation for chronic disease management in Australia. Your responsibilities will encompass the day-to-day management of this vital project, including liaising with project partners, coordinating meetings, and producing communication reports. You’ll also have the exciting opportunity to contribute to research-related tasks, from conducting comprehensive literature reviews to data analysis and the production of scientific reports and publications.
We value innovation, problem solving and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will possess an honours degree or higher qualifications in public health or health economics, or be actively pursuing a doctorate in the relevant discipline. Demonstrated analytical and manuscript preparation skills, as well as a track record of refereed research publications, are essential. You should also bring strong planning and organisational abilities to the table, with the capability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively. Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office applications is a must, and a willingness to learn new packages like NVivo or STATA will set you up for success in this dynamic role.
