Research Fellow (Computational Modelling and Simulation)

The Emerging nanoscience Research Institute (EnRI) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Undertake research on computational modelling and simulation involving a wide range of topics such as sensitivity, performance and design of energetic materials.

• Use commercially available thermochemical and hydrodynamics software to investigate the above

• Develop programs or subroutines to augment the limitations of commercial software

Job Requirements: 

• PhD in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Materials)

• Good knowledge of computational techniques and numerical models

• Experience in numerical modelling of reactive/energetic materials, engineering applications will be an added advantage

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Team player in multi-disciplinary project work

• Keen interest in research, and good technical writing and reporting skills
