The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
The Research Fellow will help to develop critical reactions to simplify the current total synthesis of natural products, carbohydrates and glycoproteins. The Research Fellow will carry out unique research and publish high-quality research results, raising the profile and reputation of NTU.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct various synthetic experiments on the research project.
Conduct independent research and publish in reputable academic journals.
Mentor junior PhD student and undergraduate students.
Job Requirements:
PhD. in Chemistry with 5 years of relevant experiences
Good English writing and communication skills are required.
Good publication record is required.
Strong record in the areas of organic chemistry; experience in carbohydrate/peptide/protein
synthesis is a plus.Experience in writing research papers and communicating them to scientific journals.
