Research Fellow (Bioorganometallics)

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.  The Research Fellow will work as the senior member of a team comprising graduate and undergraduate students to examine the application of organometallic compounds and chemistry in biomedical-related problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and syntheses of suitable compounds for testing, etc.
• Assist the PI in directing and planning of the research
• Assist in liaising with collaborators

Job Requirements:

• Minimum PhD in organometallic chemistry, preferably in metal carbonyl chemistry

• Must have prior experience in organometallic syntheses and characterization at PhD level

• Strong background in organic syntheses
• Has leadership potential or background
• Motivated and self-driven
