Research Fellow (Aerospace Engineering/Operation Research/Mathematics)

Air Traffic Management Research Institute (ATMRI) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.

The Air Traffic Management Research Institute (ATMRI) (http://atmri.ntu.edu.sg/), Nanyang Technological University, you will be part of a research team to do research on Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics with applications to Air Traffic Management Systems and Airspace Management. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Conduct and support research and development related to Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics applied to flow centric airspace and traffic flow management.
• Develop algorithms and computational models (Deep learning, evolutionary computation, multi-agent, non-linear dynamics, etc), perform data mining, doing analytics for future airspace planning.
• Assist the PI and work closely with the team regarding project management.

Job Requirements:

• PhD Degree in Aerospace Engineering/Operation Research/Mathematics, or related disciplines.
• Programming Experience: Proficient knowledge of MATLAB, C++, Python, Java, C# (at least one).
• Demonstrated research experience related to applied Machine Learning, computational modelling, or Air Traffic Management through research publications in prestigious Journals.
• Extensive experience with big data analytics.
• Good English writing and communication skills.
