Facilities Management AVC – Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh – (22008637)
Reporting directly to the Senior Facility Manager. Responsible for the overall planning, direction and coordination of facilities operations and maintenance services, and communication with building representatives. Duties may be in areas such as: building operations and maintenance; contract compliance; supplies and materials purchasing; or may encompass responsibilities in maintaining compliance with building codes, policies and procedures; fire and life safety inspections; and management of professional, technical and other employees. Direction is received from the Senior Facilities Manager however the employee is expected to exercise considerable initiative and judgment in planning and carrying out assignments.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry or related technical field. Related experience and professional licensing in certain trade areas may be substitute for formal education. Experience maybe substituted for education per the University guideline.
