The Faculty of Arts and Humanities is seeking an experienced and ambitious Research and Enterprise Officer to work in partnership with Faculty Senior Leadership and Research, Enterprise & Knowledge Exchange colleagues to deliver on key initiatives that contribute to the Faculty’s strategic vision for Research, Enterprise & Knowledge Exchange, and more widely with colleagues to advance cross-University related projects.
About the role
Your role will be managing the operations for primarily Enterprise and Knowledge Exchange activity, forming a close team with the existing Research & Enterprise Officer and working alongside the Associate Dean for Research & Enterprise to provide leadership and strategic direction for Research and Knowledge Exchange & Enterprise activities across the Faculty. Your role will provide specialist support, advice and guidance for the implementation of the Faculty’s Research, Enterprise & Knowledge Exchange Strategies.
You will:
- have experience of operationalising enterprise activities
- have good working knowledge of research administration management, its cycle and its complexities
- have proven experience of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships or similar collaboration and innovation for growth methods
- enjoy generating creative ‘commercialisation for social good’ solutions
- be an excellent communicator and able to build relationships both internally and externally
- be an engaged team member, but also able to work independently.
