Job Summary
The Research Data Analyst position is available immediately in the Torgerson-Hernandez lab in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at UCSF. Our lab is focused on theoretical and applied population genetics, including integrative genomic studies of complex disease. We also develop computational strategies for the analysis of multi-omics data in genetically structured populations, including human and non-human organisms to address fundamental questions in population and evolutionary genetics. We seek to grow our research team with individuals from diverse backgrounds who share an interest in developing or applying computational methods to address a variety of biomedical questions.
The major focus of this position will be to lead and collaborate in ongoing and emerging genomics research projects, including multi-disciplinary collaborative projects within the lab and the greater scientific community.
