Research Coordinator (Part Time, Fixed Term)

The Department of Social and Policy Sciences invites applications from excellent candidates for a role that plays a key part in supporting research activities across the department.

About the role

Based in the Research Office, the Research Coordinator will take responsibility for supporting Principal Investigators on a range of projects, alongside managing the delivery of a busy calendar of events and activities.

You will be required to work with internal colleagues, external partners and other stakeholders to ensure the visibility of our research, supporting public engagement and impact activities and maintaining web and social media channels.

This is a varied role which requires you to work across a number of projects at one time. The successful applicant will have:

  • excellent communication and organisational skills
  • be able to demonstrate an ability to multi-task
  • use initiative and prioritise

This is a part time role offered at 0.8 FTE (29.2 hours per week) which can be worked over 4 or more days. The expectation is that this would be worked on a hybrid basis, with a mixture of home and on campus working. 

This post is offered on a fixed term basis until the end of March 2024.
