Lancaster University invites applications for a Research Associate / Senior Research Associate position. This is a 24-month full-time post running from January 2023 (or possibly earlier by arrangement) but we would be open to considering other options, such as part-time working or job share arrangements.

You will be part of an interdisciplinary team working on a Research Development Award project funded by Wellcome.  This innovative programme seeks to create exciting and original new research agendas and methods, with Speculative Design being one of them.  You will have 20% of your project-time set aside for either professional development or to work on your own projects.  See the Job Description and Person Specification for more information about the role and candidate criteria.

The core team is drawn from six different disciplines (Dr Kirsty Dunn, Psychology; Prof Sara Fovargue, Law; Prof Elena Semino, Linguistics; Prof Emmanuel Tsekleves, Design; Prof Sharon Ruston, English Literature; Prof Stephen Wilkinson and Dr Nicola Williams, Philosophy). You will be based the Lancaster Institute for Contemporary Arts (Design) department.
