Research Associate – NIHR E-learning Resources For Optometrists

Salary: £29,636 – £ 37,495 pro rata

The post-holder will work with the Co-investigators to deliver the research outcomes related to a recently funded NIHR Academy e-learning award to the College of Optometrists for research training for optometrists. The position involves development of e-learning training materials to introduce research skills relevant to clinical practice for optometrists. The research associate will be involved in the development of materials, coordination of project meetings and organization of the delivery of the project with the NIHR. An understanding of optometrists clinical practice and background in clinical research will be required. The post-holder will have opportunity to contribute and be involved in the overall research performance of the Centre for Optometry and Vision Sciences (COVS). Part time, fixed term until 30 April 2023. (Options for one post at 0.6 or two posts 0.4/0.2). 

We intend to create a 12 month waiting list for same or similar roles within the University.
