Research Associate [LKCMedicine]

Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine invites applications for:

Research Associate in the laboratory of Professor Joseph Sung

The position is required to conduct research and development work related to trust in precision medicine.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take charge of research & developments on projects in trust in AI medicine and healthcare

• Participate in all aspects pertaining to the research and development of the project

• Recruiting and testing participants

• Perform data collection and analysis, summarize the findings in project reports and present updates of the project

• Take charge of general matters for the projects

• Keep track of the project progress

• Manage part-time undergraduate student assistants

• Communicate with the research team and liaise with collaborators

• Interview, Focus Group Discussions, Survey and psychological/behavioural experiments

• Basic statistical analysis

Skills and qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Economics, Science, Engineering or related fields

• Familiar with survey studies and psychological/behavioural experiments

• Knowledge of statistical software packages including R, SAS or SPSS

• Knowledge of programming languages including Matlab, Python, and/or C++

• Strong writing and communication skills, independently and as a team player

• Fresh graduates with a solid portfolio demonstrating analytical, model testing, and communication skills are welcomed to apply

• Past research experience in behavioural studies, such as surveys or psychological experiments

• Ability to conduct preliminary data analysis by statistical software R, SAS, or SPSS, or programming in Matlab, Python, and/or C++
