Research Associate (Lab Management)

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.

Key Responsibilities: 

• To perform Purchasing of the laboratory consumables and equipment using the computer system.

• To perform upkeep of the laboratory safety and simple materials characterization equipment maintenance.

• To establish safety guidelines and SOPs for laboratory management, equipment usage and equipment training.

• Liaise with our research partners to collate reports and proposals.

• Manage various project accounts and generate reports for NTU, and Grantor.

• Responsible for reporting of the animal ethics protocol.

Job Requirements: 

• B.Eng. Or B.Sc. in engineering (Chemical Engineering, Materials science, bioengineering, or chemistry) or other related disciplines

• Or experience person with Polytechnic diploma or BSc. in Biomedical sciences, Bioengineering, Microbiology, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering or equivalent .

• Laboratory experience will be a big advantage.

• Ability to collate data for reporting,

• Ability to write reports

• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities.

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

• Good interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written, as well as organizational
