Physical Requirements Required routine handling of light-weight objects up to 10 pounds, or some standing or walking for extended periods.
Shift Normal shift is 8 hours during weekdays, but some evening or weekend periods may be necessary.
Job Summary Looking for a highly motivated individual to join in our research group focused on Diabetes. The position provides an exciting opportunity to work with basic and translational research at the University of Kentucky. The candidate is expected to carry out the daily activities of the laboratory. The candidate must be willing to work flexible hours as necessary.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Required previous experience working within a basic laboratory environment.

Preferred Education/Experience Medical experience and Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous experience in a basic research laboratory preferred.
