Required Related Experience

Required License/Registration/Certification SOCRA certified or certification obtained within one year of hire.
Physical Requirements Work is primarily office & desk, computer-based but will include walking around medical center and working in patient areas.
Shift Monday – Friday, day shift, evenings and weekends rarely needed.
Job Summary The Research Associate will be responsible for:

  • Managing research projects; maintaining records; producing reports
  • Recruiting subjects and obtaining consents for research studies / clinical trials.
  • Obtaining and maintaining IRB approval for research projects
  • Helping to secure new research funding by identifying grant and clinical trial opportunities
  • Helping to write and publish scientific / medical articles; helping write grant applications

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Excellent written and oral communication skills; well organized, experience with producing reports and/or publications.
