We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic researcher with experience in qualitative research methods to join the thriving and dynamic research group led by Professor Manish Pareek.
The Pareek group is a multi-disciplinary research group involving clinicians, statisticians, public health specialists, and social scientists. The group specialises in research on a range of issues related to ethnic and migrant health and addressing health inequalities. We also work closely with patient and public stakeholders to make our research robust, impactful and serving the needs of those researched. This post will focus on delivering the qualitative workstreams of currently funded work including, but not limited to, the UK-REACH study which is a large national study examining the experiences, and impacts, of working during the COVID-19 pandemic on ethnic minority healthcare workers in the UK.
The postholder will be involved in participant recruitment and conducting interviews and/or focus groups. The Research Associate/Fellow will also lead on analysis and prepare outputs relating to these analyses. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with members within and external to the research team. Responsibilities will also include coordination and liaising with stakeholders to support the smooth running of the study. The post offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced researcher to hone their skills within a strong and supportive team.
