Duties:

We are seeking a research technician, who will work on a variety of tasks, including the development of methods and protocols for lab- and field-based measurements of carbon fluxes, microbial carbon use efficiency, and other ecosystem processes. The duties also include the analysis of data from previous experiments as well as routine lab work.  

Qualifications:

The applicant should have a MSc or PhD degree in Ecology. Previous experience with designing research methodology, the set-up of lab instrumentation, and the construction of lab and field installations are required. Good computer and statistical skills are important. Emphasis is also placed on personal characteristics such as interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as a member of a research group. Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) is required. An EU-valid driving license is also required.
