Research Assistant (Physical Sciences)

We invite motivated and independent candidates to apply for the position as Research Assistant (software developer) in the theory and simulation of polymers at Yale-NUS College. The successful candidate will help to develop the code for a hybrid simulation scheme for molecular dynamics simulations. The candidate will be developing the code with the OpenMM package in Python and will be offered a one-year contract..

Qualifications

• A Bachelor degree in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related subject
• Fluent in Python, with basic knowledge of partial differential equations.
• Experiences with molecular mechanics simulations are appreciated but not required.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
