The position is within the Department of Health Services Research and Policy, at the London School of Hygiene &Tropical Medicine in London 

The post holder will play a supporting role in the NIHR-funded OpenPROMPT Study which aims to identify how to evaluate the health and economic impact of Long Covid on people’s health. The overall aim is to maximise quality of life and deliver NHS services which are cost-effective, and value for money.  

The post holder will be the supporting analyst responsible for delivering the two health economics workstreams of the above project. Reporting to the PI, Professor Andrew Briggs, and supporting the lead analyst, the post holder will require strong quantitative skills for analysing data arising from the study and using that data to produce a cost-effectiveness model of care pathwaysm, relevant experience with relevant software such as R, STATA and Excel, evidence of good organizational skills, including effective time management. This post is full-time and fixed term until 31 January 2023 with the possibility of an extension. The post is funded by the NIHR and is available immediately. The salary will be on the Academic pathway salary scale Grade 5 in the range £36,438-£41,829 per annum or Grade 6 in the range £41,829-£47,503 per annum, (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
