Job Summary We are looking for a research coordinator to recruit patients from the Hazard and Hindman primary care clinics in Eastern Kentucky. This position requires a valid drivers license and a vehicle. The research coordinator will be responsible for recruiting potential participants, explaining the study in detail, acquiring their signatures on the consent form and collecting biospecimens (blood from a finger stick and oral samples), scheduling and overseeing all clinical exams and handling all participant reimbursement. They will be responsible for collecting and entering patient data as well as maintaining communication with Dr. Kuhs and her team on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will work well independently, possess excellent communication skills, and function as a liaison for the University of Kentucky and the Eastern Kentucky clinics. Training and equipment will be provided before the study begins.
