 Primary Responsibilities

– Functional supervision of the Undergraduate/Graduate Research Assistant.

– Oversees and assists with the development and execution of experiments, implements recommended improvements to existing methods of analysis or research. 

– Analyzes and interprets research data.

– May provide technical guidance and training to research staff, including Undergraduate/Graduate Student Research Assistants and Technicians, in the execution of tasks related to research projects.

– Performs various administrative tasks related to the project.

Other Qualifying Skills and Abilities

– Possesses subject matter expertise acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree.

– Has a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience to the research project or academic research experience may be deemed equivalent.

 Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # 3 on a scale of 0-4
