Normal Work Schedule: varies; up to 30 hours /week

Job Summary: Assists in research work in support of a major research project which may include duties such as gathering, tracking and entering data, preparing support material, etc.

Additional Department Summary: The assistant research professional is responsible for conducting and assisting with the design of research experiments, managing IRB applications, participant recruitment and scheduling, data acquisition and analysis, and manuscript preparation.

Initial appointment is for one year. Renewal is contingent upon demonstrated research productivity and availability of funds.

 Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in psychology or neuroscience. Research experience is required. Flexibility with schedule is necessary in order to accommodate participant and/or project schedules.

Skills and Knowledge: Computer proficiency is essential. Experience programming is useful but not required.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with human subjects preferred.
