Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse in Oncology is accountable for interdependently and independently assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care delivered to the patients receiving care in the radiation and medical oncology clinics.

For internal candidates: as a bargain union member, you would be considered cross-trained.Education and/or Experience

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required
• Clinic experience preferred

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Upon hire

• Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota
• Within 30 days of hire

• Basic Life Support
• Within six months of hire (or first available course)

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy/Biotherapy

• Oncology Nurse certification preferred

Work Schedule

• Day shift as needed: 8:00am-4:30pm; PRN (per casual requirements)
