Job SummaryThe RN in the Avera Medical Call Center is responsible for assessment triage, planning, providing appropriate nursing interventions/options, education and evaluation of caller outcomes. The Avera Medical Call Center RN is also responsible for marketing of the hospital services, facilitating referrals to local physicians and community services.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Previous nursing experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota is required within 90 days of employment.

Work Schedule

• Varied Hours; PRN

PayThe hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $25.75 – $38.25 per hour
