Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.ScopeAs a Registered Nurse you know that every day is different, which is why you need to know how to

  • Assess, recognize and address patients psychological and physical needs
  • Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind- Communicate compassionately and effectively
  • Assist in developing individualized treatment plans
  • Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines
  • Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs- Participate in clinical team conferences
  • Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications– ASN from an accredited program; BSN within 4 years
– Current RN license in state of practice– Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association– One year of nursing experience in a comparable setting, preferredPhysical Requirements:

  • Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.
  • Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
  • See and read computer monitors and documents.
  • Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
  • May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.
