About the Role

The Office of Strategy, Business Development and Procurement is seeking a highly motivated, experienced and skilled Category Manager, Digital Acceleration to join their team for 1 year.

The Category Manager, Digital Acceleration reports to the Senior Manager, Technology & Digital Category and supports the Digital Acceleration Program on allocated strategic sourcing and category initiatives.

The Category Manager, Digital Acceleration is responsible for the end to end management of strategic procurement activities for the Digital Acceleration program in line with University processes and policies with a focus on risk management and delivering robust commercial outcomes. This role will work closely with the Senior Manager, Technology & Digital Category and business stakeholders in providing subject matter expertise and operating as a trusted advisor to executive and senior University stakeholders.

This role is focused on forward category planning and optimising the sourcing arrangements within their portfolio, including establishing appropriate and robust sourcing activities with associated stakeholder buy in approvals, for the sustainable long-term benefits of the University.

Skills and Experiences
The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge in technology and digital strategic sourcing, category management and analysis, procurement and tender processes, negotiations, contract management and supplier relationship management, well-developed project-co-ordination, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to work closely with all levels of executive and senior management.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 8 $123,297 to $136,873 p.a. (comprising Salary of $104,187 to $115,659 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
