About the Role

The Office of Teaching & Research Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead our Engineering & Design Technical Support team. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all teaching workshops and associated facilities are supported with the highest quality technical services. Our goal is to enable the practical teaching and research needs of the School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment. 

You will be based at the new Parramatta Engineering Innovation Hub of Western Sydney University, but the team is located on several campuses so multi-campus work will be required on a regular basis.

This is a full-time, ongoing position.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this position you will have an undergraduate degree and extensive experience in Engineering and/or an equivalent combination of extensive relevant experience and education/training. You will also have demonstrated experience in the effective management, co-ordination, supervision, and leadership of staff and functions.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 7 $110,370 to $119,091 p.a. (comprising Salary of $93,264 to $100,633 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
