An opportunity has arisen for you to join a vibrant team, supporting the delivery of innovative and engaging student recruitment events for the University. You will have experience of supporting the organisation of events and be familiar with the education sector. You will have knowledge of marketing activity and the various multiple integrated channels.
As the Recruitment Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing operational support to the Senior Recruitment Events and Marketing Officer, ensuring the successful planning, delivery and evaluation of a wide range of on campus recruitment events including University Open Days, Applicant Experience Days, Taster Days, postgraduate events, campus visits and bespoke events for a wide range of stakeholders including schools, colleges and other external partnership organisations. The Recruitment Events Coordinator will also be responsible for recruiting and training student ambassadors and to supervise them at events. As recruitment events often take place at evenings or weekends, the post-holder will require a flexible approach to working hours.
Due to your excellent interpersonal skills, you’ll be confident working alongside faculties, marketing, admissions and recruitment colleagues, providing guidance on collateral and assets for open days, campus visits, applicant experience days and clearing.
The Recruitment Events Coordinator must be an organised multi-tasker with the ability to handle multiple projects with excellent time management skills.
Working alongside the Senior Recruitment Events and Marketing Officer, you will be required to develop strong working relationships with multiple teams across the university and support the organisation and delivery of events.
