The MSc in Applied Computing (MScAC) program is a high-quality complement to the graduate research programs (MSc/PhD) offered by the Department of Computer Science. As a program, we collaborate with seven other departments and faculties to provide a diverse offering of concentrations. The departments and faculties include Cell and Systems Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistical Sciences, Physics and the Faculties of Medicine and Engineering. Your opportunity:
Reporting to the Associate Director, MScAC Administration, this role is critical to developing effective recruitment and admissions efforts for the MSc in Applied Computing program.The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing on strategies and initiatives to help advance recruitment objectives in both local and international markets. This will include representing the University of Toronto, the Department of Computer Science and the MScAC program in a positive way, and working with a breadth of internal and external stakeholders. It will also include engaging with prospective and admitted students at various stages in the Recruitment and Admissions cycle. Additionally, the Recruitment and Admissions Officer will be an active participant in the admissions process, conducting applicant pre-screening, applicant interviews, and supporting various admissions functions at peak times.
