Salary: £25,877.80 – £34,240 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (with one flexible early finish per week and occasional Wednesday evening work depending on service needs)

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team, working collaboratively to support individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse. In this role, you will deliver person-centred recovery planning and case management across all stages of the recovery journey.
You will engage with service users from initial assessment and early engagement through to sustained recovery, ensuring holistic, tailored support that promotes long-term positive outcomes. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will build strong, trusting relationships, empower individuals to set and achieve their goals, and support them in overcoming barriers to recovery.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate a caseload of service users, developing and reviewing recovery plans and interventions
Carry out triage, screening and comprehensive assessments
Deliver one-to-one and group psychosocial interventions
Complete risk assessments, safeguarding plans and case management documentation
Support service users to access treatment, recovery and community resources
Deliver harm reduction interventions and promote recovery-focused outcomes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using online case management systems
Support prison in-reach and positive community reintegration where required
Contribute to a positive team culture and uphold Waythrough’s values of kindness, courage and respect
About You
We welcome applications from candidates with experience in substance misuse, criminal justice, mental health, social care or related sectors. Transferable skills and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
You will ideally have:
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards this
Experience delivering one-to-one or group interventions
An understanding of recovery-focused and harm reduction approaches
Strong communication and partnership working skills
Experience managing risk, safeguarding and complex caseloads
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
A driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable
