Receptionist

Grade 4 £21,197 – £23,144 (per annum pro rata) together with NEST pension benefits.

Location – Bay and/or Singleton Campus as required

Contract: Permanent

 Hours of Work: 35 hours per week (part time hours will be considered)

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is looking to appoint two people in to two highly rewarding and important receptionist roles within our staff community.

 The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is one of three faculties within Swansea University, is based across two campus locations (Singleton and Bay) and is home to the School of Law, School of Culture and Communication, School of Social Sciences and School of Management.

 The Receptionist role supports the effective running of day-to-day operations within the Faculty; acting as a focal point for enquiries and stakeholder engagement in person, over the phone and via digital platforms, the role holder will be an integral part of of the staff community, enabling positive interactions and experiences for all who interact with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.  The Receptionist role is part of the Faculty’s Technical, Infrastructure and Environment team, a diverse team that works together in a bid to set the conditions for success, and provide a dynamic service fit for a fast paced, varied and developing business.

 The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is looking for candidates that have a genuine interest in helping people, enjoy and have the capability of solving problems (autonomously, collaboratively and via effective signposting), and hold a pro-active, can-do attitude.
