  • Base Salary HEO 3 (38 hours), $73,596 p.a. – $81,724 p.a., + 17% superannuation + loadings for after hours and weekend shifts applied.

As part of the School of Veterinary Science which is ranked #1 in the Southern Hemisphere, the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital Sydney (UVTHS) provides a clinical learning experience for veterinary students with staff engaged in professional training programs through provision of veterinary services to the public.   

We are currently seeking Reception staff to support Clients, Academics and Clinicians and be part of building a new future and contribute towards the training of the next generation of veterinarians. In the position you will

  • perform day-to-day administrative tasks which support the operations of reception at UVTHS

  • provide an outstanding level of customer service to all internal and external stakeholders, including clients

  • provide responses to a range of general enquiries via telephone, email and in person, from staff, students, clients, visitors, and the general public

  • provide support with daily accounts administration including accurate invoicing, accounts receivable and client debt collection as well as reconciliation of banking

  • be offered the opportunity to assist with several of our community outreach programs, an amazing chance to give back to the community.

About you

  • at least 1 years’ experience in a receptionist position

  • previous experience in a veterinary hospital is ideal but not essential

  • vibrant and enthusiastic, with a strong sense of teamwork 

  • kind and compassionate towards people and pets alike

  • able to follow directions of hospital staff and communicate effectively

  • professional, hardworking, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.
