An exciting opportunity has arisen for a customer focused Receptionist to join the Nuffield Department of Medicine.

Acting as a friendly and helpful first point of contact for the Centre, you will be responsible for the reception area, to welcome all visitors to the building and deal professionally with any enquiries. You will also provide general support for the building to ensure that the administrative and building management functions of the unit run smoothly. You will be working in a team and act proactively in helping to develop systems for the smooth operation of the building, and on occasion support other buildings on Old Road Campus.

It is essential that you are educated to GCSE standard or equivalent (with grade C or above in English and Maths), together with friendly and professional manner with demonstrable customer service experience. You will have the competence in using standard office IT applications, including Microsoft Word, SharePoint, Excel and Outlook, together with the ability to learn new IT systems quickly. You will also be flexible and adaptable approach to work including the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
