Description

We are looking for an individual to assist our family owned +12,000 acre hunting ranch located outside of La Pryor, TX. The ranch has been owned and operated for the management of whitetail deer for over the past 18 years. We have over 30 hunting blinds and multiple feeders around the ranch. The individual selected will have responsibilities include but not limited to:

-Assisting Ranch Manager with day-to-day operations and projects around the ranch
-Shredding and maintaining roads and fence lines
-Filling feeders around the ranch
-Maintaining cleanliness around and inside deer blinds
-Maintenance of equipment and vehicles
-Keeping all compounds grounds cleaned and mowed
-Assisting Ranch Manager guide deer hunts
-Maintaining water troughs and water lines
-Scouting of deer on the ranch
-Vaccinating, sorting, and working of cattle

This is a 40 hour a week job with some weeks needing more hours worked than others. Housing and electric included with employment. Salary and benefits are also included with employment. Please email resumes to randyd@tricitybud.com.

Qualifications

Qualifications include but not limited to:

-Must be able to complete and pass background check
-Must have clean driving record
-Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs
-Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions
-Must have some heavy equipment experience (Large tractors, shredder, and motor grader)
-Must have some general mechanical and ranch skills and knowledge
-Have knowledge and skill scoring and aging deer on the hoof
-Must have a loyal, positive attitude
-Must be able to work without supervision and as a team
-Must have good communication skills
