Rakaia Island Scholarship
Rakaia Island Scholarship
The Rakaia Island Scholarships were established in 2022 to assist and recognise students at Lincoln University with a passion for agriculture.
Two scholarships will be awarded annually.
- One scholarship will be awarded to a student who is intending to enter the third year of a Bachelor of Agriculture or Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree.
- One scholarship will be awarded to a student in a Diploma in Agriculture intending to continue into a Diploma in Farm Management.
Value
$5,000 for each recipient

Selection Criteria
- Academic merit
- Demonstrable interest in Agriculture in New Zealand now and in the future
Availability
- Be full time students registered in either
the second year of a Bachelor of Agriculture or Bachelor of Agricultural Science
or
a Diploma in Agriculture
- Be New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents.
