We are recruiting to an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance specialist to manage the operations of the Quality, Standards and Accreditation Team and lead on the University’s educational partnerships.
About the role:
The postholder will provide specialist knowledge and advice to the University in the area of educational quality experience, and will manage the operations of the Quality, Standards and Accreditation Team (QSAT). They will lead work in the area of Collaborative Provision, supporting the establishment and renewal of a range of Transnational Education (TNE) and other collaborative provision arrangements.
During the first months you will play a key role in reviewing the work of the QSAT aiming to; establish best practice and identify areas for improvement.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- quality assurance lead for educational collaborative provision activity
- provide lead advice about quality assurance and monitoring processes of educational developments and delivery
- develop and deliver training, briefings and presentations
- act as secretary to the Collaborative Provision Sub-Committee
About you:
We are looking for a candidate with an excellent understanding of the current policy and regulatory context in higher education and an awareness of international and national developments relating to collaborative provision and Transnational Education.
You will be committed to developing relationships with University partners and specialist bodies and have effective line management, team working, communication, interpersonal and excellent organisational and planning skills. You will be highly motivated in managing a complex range of activities and adept at managing a busy and diverse workload. You must be solution-focussed with the ability to think creatively and a commitment to continual enhancement.
There will be opportunities to build on your expert knowledge of higher education and to engage with external networks.
