We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam’s business.The Impact You’ll MakeAs a Quality Engineer at Lam, you’ll make an impact in ensuring manufacturing processes and products meet quality standards by designing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance within the quality management systems (QMS). You design methods for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the accuracy of production processes and finished products. By analyzing production data and reports, you identify trends and work across functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges. Your expertise will help develop excellence in product design and manufacturing supporting Lam’s commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable products.What You’ll Do

• Designs, implements and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
• Responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution.
• Designs methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products.
• Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary.
• Assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards (i.e. ISO, Six Sigma, etc.).
• Collaborates in cross-functional Quality reviews, dispositioning and RCCA reviews and takes part in development and implementation of quality standards, methods and procedures.
• Identifies systematic gaps/potentials on products, quality improvement capabilities and the quality management system itself.
• Makes recommendations for corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality requirements and to meet or exceed our quality objectives.
• Shows ownership and accountability for the quality and the performance to goals, and ensures a sense of urgency, risk identification and mitigation.

Who We’re Looking For

• Technical education in electronics, engineering, quality or other applicable field of education (HTL, etc.)
• Good knowledge of SAP & Quality Applications
• Common quality techniques (8D, 5 Why, …)
• English skills (written and spoken)
• Precise and structured working style, strongly developed sense of duty and quality
• Precision during the execution of tasks
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to think analytically
• Good communication skills and willingness to cooperate
• High degree of initiative & flexibility
• Motivated self starter
• Openness to change/improvement

What We’re OfferingThis position will be occupied in Villach. It is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group E, depending on Education background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
