QUALITY ASSURANCE/QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR, Facilities (DOF)-Operations-Campus Services and Maintenance-Operations, to ensure that the quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) system is upheld and carried out in an effective manner.  Will continuously performs inspections that will enhance the quality of MIT and the QA/QC team; work to ensure that all QA/QC goals and objectives are met and ensure MIT is complying with building codes, permits, and inspectional standards; and coordinate with and work closely with QA/QC team and other DOF teams as required.  


Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  a high school diploma or its equivalent; at least three year of related experience with repair and maintenance, facilities management, building operations, or commissioning; familiarity and comfort with reviewing engineering drawings; computer skill with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn other programs; ability to ensure correct codes, standards, job specifications, project procedures, and state and federal regulations are properly identified, correctly specified in detail, and met or exceeded; ablity to contribute as part of a team; strong coordination and organizational skills; and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, within the organization and ith client groups, vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.  PREFERRED:  associate’s or B.S. degree, preferably in an engineering field; HVAC and electrical experience; and experience with SAP and safety programs.  Job #22053-7
