Primary Purpose of Position | This position serves as a Purchasing Specialist – with responsibility for the timely and cost-effective acquisition of commodities, equipment, and services for UNC Charlotte within established purchasing procedures and applicable laws. |
Minimum Education/Experience | Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; or Associate’s degree and two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. University Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from a four-year college or university with at least two years of purchasing experience; or a two-year associate degree with four years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
