Title: Project/Program Managers

Location: ALTA is supporting a contract opportunity working hybrid onsite/remote for a client located in the Montreal Quebec, Canada area

Summary:

Looking for high level skillsets related to Project/Program Management, Change Management, Agile Delivery and project managing end-to-end processes.

Program to result in key deliverables, including:

• Finalization of reengineered set of processes enabling complete cutover to new Workday ATS system

• Developing framework & net-new processes for new LXP system

  Scope Details: Team Structure / Resources Needed / Location

• The team will drive four L1 Workstreams, each with three L2 sub-workstreams.

• 1-2 Project Managers/PMO types, requires strong executive presence & leadership capability.

• 2-3 Functional PM roles to drive discrete workstreams.

  Timeline / Sequence / Deadlines:

• Listed L1 workstreams will all run concurrently.

• Pace of work will be rapid, with deadlines set internally on a deliverable-level.

  Workstreams/Deliverables/Qualifications:

  Level 1 Workstreams:

• Recruiting Enablement (deplatforming two existing platforms, transitioning to Workday)

• Data and Analytics Support (of transition to Power BI; expansion of datasets available for reporting/visualization)

• Learning Experience (Introduction of LXP – Learning Experience Platform)

• Managing Employee Journey (related to introduction of custom-developed Microsoft platforms, internally focused CRM solution)

  Level 2 Sub-workstream Activities (Present in each L1 workstream):

• Program Management (supporting existing, internal HR transformation effort)

• Agile Structure and Leadership: manage existing Agile framework and governance for Modernization program, design and lead regular squad / fleet ceremonies (including business reviews w/ cross-Firm leadership).

• PMO / Program Support: in line with Agile framework, provide PMO / program management support across squads / fleets (scrum masters, coaches, fleet support).

• Ad Hoc Leadership Support: as needed, support program leads with communications, leadership decks / materials, business case development / tracking, KPI development / tracking, etc.

• Software Process Reengineering (to enable software infrastructure transitions)

• Process Excellence Work: top-down process design and mapping (i.e. “target workflows,” not bottoms-up capture), workflow optimization, regional / business nuance / consideration capture, and identification of automation opportunities + tooling.

• HR Operating Optimization Support (to enable implementation of new enterprise solutions / decommission legacy platforms for target HR services and capabilities).

• Operating Model Transformation: review, optimization, and implementation of new HR operating / delivery models driven by employee-centered designs.
