Under the Air Traffic Management Research Institute (ATMRI) (http://atmri.ntu.edu.sg/), Nanyang Technological University, you will be part of a research team to develop computational models using Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics for Air Traffic Management. The selected candidate will work on developing innovative machine learning models including air traffic prediction, air traffic optimization, and air traffic safety enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply deep learning, reinforcement learning, and other advanced AI techniques to solve Air Traffic problems.
Work with real-time and historical air traffic data to build predictive models for air traffic demand and capacity.
Collaborate with a team of researchers and engineers to integrate machine learning models into ATM simulation systems.
Analyze the performance of machine learning models and optimize their scalability for real-world airspace management applications.
Participate in project meetings, prepare research reports, and contribute to publications in top-tier academic conferences and journals.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals and technical documentation.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering.
Demonstrated knowledge of Air Traffic Management through research, publications, training.
Evidence of developing Machine Learning and Optimization models for Air traffic research problems.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Good writing and communication skills.
Independent and team player
