Project Officer (Computer Science/Machine Learning/Computer Vision)

The S-Lab for Advanced Intelligence invites applications for the position of Project Officer. 

We are seeking project officers to join a university-level research centre collaborating with industry. The position is for one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance. Successful candidates will be involved in a project that is related to human-object interaction.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collect and preprocess sports scene data for further analytical tasks;
• Design and improve CNN models for 2D/3D human key-point detection and tracking;
• Design and implement algorithms for human action recognition based on 2D/3D key-points.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, or a related discipline, with a focus on Machine Learning and/or Computer Vision;
• Good programming skills in e.g., Python/C++, PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Excellent teamwork awareness;
• Experience in publishing papers in top-tier machine learning or computer vision conferences/journals will be a plus.
