Project Officer (Biomedical Engineering)

The School of Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) invites applications for the position of Project Officer.
The Translational Materials Innovation Group (http://www.ntu.edu.sg/home/njcho/) has world-leading expertise in biointerfacial science, including optical and acoustic biosensors, phospholipid assemblies, protein adsorption, membrane-active compounds, and antibacterial and antiviral applications. TMIG is looking to hire a dedicated individual to assist with the management of daily laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Inventory management: organize stockpiling, supply tracking, replenish consumables.

Purchasing support: liaison for group to communicate with vendors and school finance for lab material/equipment purchasing. Follow-up with delivery and document all transactions

Handle lab documentation, including budget reporting, manpower hiring and internship arrangements.

Support grant management, group accounting practices, event coordination, scheduling.

Prepare task reports as requested.
Job Requirements:

B.S. degree in a scientific field and/or accounting or graduates from Polytechnic or equivalent institution.

Experience in work software, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

Experience with lab management is preferred but not mandatory.

Excellent on/offline communication and organizational skills.

Able to work within teams.
